Cosplay/Convention

Kumori-con is in about 6 hours! I didn't think I'd make it to this con for various reasons! So the story starts with me not having a wig for my kamina (I dyed my hair for the first time but had to dye it back to natural and had it cut for a job) So, of course I did the smart thing and tried to order said wig about 1-2months before con. But I don't have a debit/credit card so I had to give the money to a friend so she could buy it online for me!
Well...
She lost her wallet, and about a week later found it without any money in it. you guessed it, my money was stolen also. Then she said she'd just buy said wig with her money, I agreed. But at the time she was broke and had to wait for a paycheck. So, two weeks later she gets paid. It takes about 2-3 days to find the right wig.
The convention is now less than one week away, and shipping now costs $129831 to get here in time and that was still a gamble at best. Needless to say, "No kamina wig for con, no Kamina" Since kamina is my "main" cosplay that takes the cope de gras from my wardrobe, so I'd given up on Kumori-con give or take.
Well all my friends kept complaining and complaining so I agreed that'd I'd go on one condition. If they could find a badass anime character with a costume I could complete in 3 days. Well the girl who lost my money found one! Jan Valentine from Hellsing. If you don't know him, He's a raging psychotic synthetic humorous vampire with a foul mouth and bad attitude! Ontop of that he's tan like me! Perfect!
Well one thing led to another, I made many mistakes and errors that took time to fix in the cosplay, I had to make;

A sportsy navy blue top with white tread down the arms in two lines,
matching pants.
A navy blue beanie with a special symbol on the top,
Make/find/paint up 2 matching assault riffles one with a shoulder strap,
Get a cigar (optional),
A long black wig (which the friend who lost my money bought out of her own pocket because she's pro and unusually nice),
Vampire teeth,
Six clip on golden rings for piercings,
A single silver stud,
In addition the character has golden eyes, but I lack the contact lenses so I'm using my prescribed red ones(which seem reasonable given the time limit/budget),
And white gloves.

I've done/found all of this within 3 days time, completed it, and made it nice. It's 1 hour from when my ride gets here. 3:30am I've decided to stay up instead of trying to sleep and wake up.

Against all odds I've made it. Due to skill, creativity, and most of all my extreamly helpful friends.
Let's just hope I look as epic as I picture myself in my head *lol*
